Waste Heat Recovery System

Turnell Corp completed a feasibility study to determine the return on investment of installing a waste heat recovery power generation system at the plant. The economic benefits of installing the system are the power cost savings and CO2 carbon credits.

Systems based on the Rankine Cycle with water as the fluid were considered for the study. The system includes several heat recovery steam generators, condensing turbines with power generators sets, several different types of condensers, and water treatment systems.
